How to delete your account

  • In the iOS or Android app: Settings → Account → Delete account.
  • On the web: sign in, then Settings → Account → Delete account.

To confirm it is you, we email an 8-digit code to the address on your account. Enter it to finish.

If you are the only owner of a workspace that others still use, first make someone else an owner, or remove the others.

If you can't sign in

Email privacy@sqmem.top from the address registered to your account, with the subject "Delete my Nuto account". We will verify the request and reply within 30 days.

What happens

  • Immediately: you are signed out everywhere, and every access token, device authorization and AI-assistant authorization stops working.
  • Within 30 days: signing in again with the same account restores it, with its content.
  • After 30 days: the account is anonymized. We delete your email address, display name, avatar, time zone, password, sign-in provider links, detailed usage analytics, notifications and notification settings, secrets in the vault, the feedback you sent while signed in (with its screenshots) and the names of your computers and phones. Workspaces no one else belongs to are closed: no one can open them again, their attachment files are deleted, and 30 days later they are deleted for good with their issues, comments and memories.
  • What remains: issues and comments you created in workspaces shared with others, and the memories you shared with them, stay for those members, no longer linked to your name or email address. Memories you kept private there are erased. Subscription and transaction records are kept as the law requires. Database backups may contain your data for up to 30 days. The copy of a feedback message that was emailed to our team stays in our mailbox until you ask us to delete it.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account cancels a subscription bought through Creem, which then ends with the period already paid for. It does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play: cancel it in that store's subscription settings.
